Sunday the 3rd of September

Join us for a great day’s cycling in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside with 25, 50 and 65 mile rides to choose from. All the routes are on quiet country roads and fully waymarked. There are rest stops with free homemade cake and refreshments available on the way round.

Start and finish at the Hereford Cathedral School playing fields, HR4 0PH. Some parking is available at the site, but this will be limited in the event of wet weather and we would encourage later riders to park in nearby public car parks.

Breakfast is available at the start and a bar and barbeque at the end.

The rides are through the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. The longer routes are moderately challenging with the 65 mile ride going up through the famous Gospel Pass with a total climb of 1310 meters. The 25 mile route is an easier ride suitable for families.

The 65 mile starts and 8.00am, the 50 mile at 9.30am and the 25 mile at 10.30am.

Enter online at Challenge For Hope Sportive – British Cycling (£25.00 + £1.00 Application fee), or on the day (£30.00). All proceeds to support the work of the Peace and Hope Trust – sponsorship forms are available.

All riders are strongly advised to wear helmets and are expected to ride with care and attention for their and the public’s safety. Please make sure your bike is in good mechanical order and that you bring at least one spare inner tube. Riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and all participants take part at their own risk. Electric bikes are welcome.
